Some late night hunger pangs lead to this delicious meaty creation. Starting from the bottom bun up there is a hamburger pattie, cheddar cheese, pork schnitzle, grilled black forest ham, lettuce and tomatoe. I topped it all off with some dijon mustard and mayo.

• 1 large can of tomato sauce (or 2 small ones)
• 1 Medium Size Onion (quartered and separated)
• 1 Medium Size Apple (peeled, cored and separated)
• 1/2 cup brown sugar (give or take)
• Big splash (3 tablespoons) cider vinegar
• 3 cloves garlic crushed
• 1 teaspoon dry mustard
• 1 teaspoon chili powder
• 1 heaping tablespoon rub (equal parts salt, pepper, paprika, probably a teaspoon of each)
• Molasses and/or Honey to taste

Instructions:

1. Take the apple and onion chunks and place them in a wire basket. Put them in the coolest spot in your smoker. They should sit in there for a couple hours, or until they can’t take anymore cooking. You may say to yourself, “Why am I doing this?” Well, by smoking the apple and onion we introduce a smokey flavour without having to use artificial smoke!
2. When the apple and onion are almost done, heat up the tomato sauce and add all of the other ingredients except the molasses and honey. Place apple and onion in the sauce and simmer them for another hour.
3. Scoop out the apple and onion chunks and place them in a blender with as much sauce as is practical. Blend it until it’s smooth and there are no more chunks.
4. Now it’s time to sweeten the sauce. The honey and molasses can be adjusted to your taste and the type of meat your serving. You might want to add lots of molasses or honey for ribs, and very little for beef brisket.
5. Once it’s at the right sweetness, simmer on a very low heat for as long as possible, up to two hours. When the sauce is blended it gets lots of tiny air bubbles in it, so simmering helps get rid of these.

Now just dip your meat in it.

Twitter Tools has many more advanced features for Twitter, but lacks the Facebook update. If all you want to do is update your blog, Twitter, and Facebook from one place, this is the plugin for.

The only drawback I can see is that if you’re logged into Facebook when you publish a post, you will be automatically logged out.

Me, Eden, and Gretchen

Me, one of my kids (Eden), the dog (Gretchen), the guinea pigs (just a little bit of Cinnamon), a VW van, Darth Vader on a record, Dill, and my bass (behind the guinea pig cage).

This becomes useful if you have uploaded images you’d like to place in a post’s gallery that are not currently children of that post.

I’ve also found that sometimes you add a new post with photos and they are not added to the gallery because you hadn’t saved the post when you uploaded them. This allows you to associate those photos with the post.

The interface isn’t that user friendly, you must enter the post ID, and I’d appreciate feedback on how to improve this.

Installation

1. Extract change-post-attachment.zip and place change-post-attachment.php `/wp-content/plugins/` directory
2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress

You know the games room is gonna rock when the first thing you see is this:

Best value: don't put a quarter in because the game is broken.

So I put in my 3 quarters for two plays and it says there are 6 credits. Woot! Two games for a quarter! The table was old and I noticed a few problems off the bat, like the rubber around the left flipper was floppy and loose, but whatever. But then I started to notice the rubber was falling off everywhere. The balls kept getting stuck and you had to tilt the machine to get them out.

Finally three balls got stuck during a thrilling multi-ball episode and the machine shut down. It feebily displayed a message on it’s dying display: “3 BALLS MISSING.” I managed to get them free by almost flipping the machine upside down, but eventually they all got stuck in the same spot again and could not be freed.

I caught a couple other people plugging in quarters only to find out it wasn’t working. I guess that’s how they make money off this machine. Anyways, in the end I think I had more fun with the broken machine than I would have if it actually worked.

WordPress stores the user’s login status in a cookie named “wordpress_logged_in_COOKIEHASH,” Where COOKIEHASH there is an MD5 hash of the ‘Site URL’ option. Line 421 of wp-settings.php:

So you can use that to check the cookie, or you can copy it from an existing cookie on your machine, or generate it in your own cookie name. First, log yourself out of WordPress, because we are going to be changing the logged in cookie name, and you won’t be able to log in or out with the old cookie name. Now we can define a new cookie name in the wp-config.php file by adding the following line somewhere in the file:

define('LOGGED_IN_COOKIE', 'my_cookie_name');

For Reference The default is defined in wp-settings.php on line 392 as:

define('LOGGED_IN_COOKIE', 'wordpress_logged_in_' . COOKIEHASH);

So now I’ll always know what the cookie name is, so I can extract the username from the cookie value.

The value contains the following info:

username|doubleHashedPassword

Now that we have a username, we can fetch user data, such as a user_id. Something like this should do the trick assuming that you have established your DB connection:
